Caroline CahillMember of the Public
I have lived locally for nearly 30 years with my husband and 2 sons. I graduated with a degree in Business Studies and spent my career working as a Business Analyst working for public and private sector companies on the South coast. For a number of years, I have had a keen interest in local planning and would like to try and ensure Denmead retains it’s village identity and community values through it’s neighbourhood plan. While embracing inevitable growth we need to ensure the right homes are built in the right areas reflecting community views and needs so that future generations have the opportunity to remain a part of Denmead.

Having retired from his role as project manager in 2016, Alan and his Finnish born wife moved back to the area and has lived in Denmead since 2020. He is the author of one published book.
Liz Wade
Member of the Public
Liz grew up on Hayling Island, studied English and French at Birmingham university and  lived and worked as a teacher and manager in local secondary schools, Further Education and Sixth form colleges from 1981 until 2019 when she retired.  She moved to Denmead with her husband Philip in 2018 where they both enjoy walking in the local countryside, leading walks, travelling and gardening in between looking after grandchildren and elderly parents.  Before moving to Denmead she read the Neighbourhood Plan and is keen to support and contribute to the vision that it provides for the development of Denmead, retaining its rural character and ensuring it is developed in line with the views and priorities of the local community.
